So I misunderstood the JJ situation. That's just from the Athletic commission, USADA still has to issue a punishment. So its a min of a year, and will probably be closer to 2.

 

We've been in this Jon Jones limbo since the beginning of 2015. That is insane. You know, if he would have just retired or would have been out because of injury, he could have walked away from this sport as the GOAT by never fighting again. Yet he still found a way to ruin his legacy.

 

I need to stick by what I said last year and be done with him. Amazing fighter, shitty person. All the nonsense about him taking lie detector tests and all the denial further annoys me than it did before. There's room for better to show up.

Maaaaaan that was a really good card last night. Ortega dominated Edgar, and he is undefeated, but I wouldn’t count Holloway out already. We’ve seen people steamroll through contenders and then lose to the defending champ before, so I’ll get behind him once he actually beats the best.

Cyborg is properly nicknamed, that woman truly is a machine and I don’t think there is a contender currently that can take her.

O’Malley was a lot of fun to watch. I can’t really grasp the guy’s personality really, but there’s plenty of potential there. Impressive fight.

 

Ortega is a bad mother fucker. Him and Max will be fireworks.

Hopefully we get Cyborg vs Nunes cause she doesn’t have any other options aside from maybe Megan Anderson

 

I think she will devour Nunes.

Maybe I missed a change in the drug use stipulations since weed became legal in multiple states, but are fighters no longer flagged for weed use when drug tested? I started following O'Malley on instagram today and he's a huge pothead/advocate. Even apparently making his own strand now?

Dana is SUPPOSEDLY gonna sit down with Anthony Joshua after his next fight.

 

Agreed on Edgar. War Shogun (he has the longest winning streak at LHW right now). I think Werdum is at the downturn of his career but still a top contender. Unfortunately he is probably permanently out of the title picture now. I'm down for Ngannou vs. BB. Also hoping Stephens gets a title shot soon bevause he's been on a tear and is one of the only top FW contenders to have never gotten a title shot.

 

I think Wonderboy vs Till also just got announced

 

Looks like we're finally going to get some movement at 170. Bout time we started getting fights for these guys, although an interim title is pretty trash.
