Regardless if this is true or not, Conor definitely seems to be getting a little out of control, but I feel like his behavior is reinforced by the UFC's inaction in reprimanding him for basically anything he does. They let him get into with Goddard not once but twice, one time being in another organizations event where he got into the cage and slapped an official and the other time he followed it up by calling another fight a homophobic slur on camera. The UFC does nothing besides pretend to punish him by taking him off a card he was never actually even on in the first place.
It was originally sports star, then changed to celebrity. There's rumours from Irish police that his early fights were funded by the Kinahan gang. Open secret. One of his best mates is caught up in a feud between two Dublin based drugs gangs. The man who was punched is the father of Dublin hit man the wig. His daughter tweeted about her dad getting punched by Conor on Sunday night.
Just read Whittaker made the Commonwealth Games next year for wrestling for Aus. Schedule pending I suppose
This is a card where I am scared to pick anyone lol all of these people are so good The only one I'm somewhat confident in is Ngannou. I know he hasn't faced competition as stiff as Overeem (who is probably one of the most talented Heavyweights of all time), but I just think the Reem cannot avoid getting tagged for three rounds. The guy gets rocked anytime he gets grazed, so I just cannot see him making it through this whole fight considering Ngannou's power.
You speak the truth. I love Reem, but he can get hit and this is a particularly dangerous fight. That said, if Reem were to blow the doors off him I wouldn't be surprised either. The one I'm most confident on is Cejudo. Don't think Pettis is ready for that step up to be honest.
Yeah that is true, also. Cejudo is one of the best, but Pettis is getting better all the time. The question is just if he is up there at this point in time, which I agree with you - he's probably not yet.
GSP is out indefinitely. Apparently suffering from colitis. Really sucks to hear, hope it isn’t a severe case.
Yeah 2 great fights, 2 miserable ones. This one should be the former. Holloway might end it early. Gonna be real interesting.
Cannot wait for Ngannou vs Miocic. Oh man. I would also like to see Werdum get the winner of that fight. I feel bad for Aldo. Not sure what his next step would be, but I know that weight cut to 145 can't be getting any easier. Also wouldn't be mad if Overeem retired somewhat soon. His skills are still top notch but he has just accumulated way too much damage. He's been KOed 5 times in the UFC alone and almost got stopped by Werdum.
I don't really like Rockhold as a person, but I always enjoy his rants about the division and title shots. I love pretty much all of the other contenders at MW but it really is a cluster fuck right now. Pretty much the only good match up happening is Brunson vs. Jacare II. Bisping has been sitting out waiting for opportune fights then gets finished twice in three weeks, Whittaker won the interim belt but gets skipped by GSP, GSP wins the title but is injured so he sits out indefinitely... UFC loses Mousasi, Gastelum looks good but got finished by Weidman recently who is hurt, no idea why Yoel and Rockhold aren't fighting anyone.
