  2. Lee’s tweet is awesome.

But if this turns into a beatdown please just give us Ferguson v Conor or Holloway v Conor. I know we’re getting Diaz 3 though.

I don't like Lee that much but he won't fold, regardless of the bad weight cut.

Someone tonight said to me they think Conor will fight Diaz and then retire.

  5. Lewis v Werdum canceled. Lame.

So lame. I literally opened up twitter to say how excited I was for that fight and saw that it was cancelled.

Can't blame him though. It's probably better to postpone it than lose badly and end up even more injured. Back injuries are no joke.

  7. I don't think it's possible to KO Vannata

I think its time to have a serious discussion on where Mighty Mouse is on the all time great list after that performance and finish

    1A or 1B I suppose.

DJ's level of competition is still so much lower than the Silva, GSP, and Fedor. Still in the conversation though.

I can't believe how much Lee's stock has risen after that fight. That shot after the bell was really shitty.

I don't disagree with you, but it's a little harder to measure how good DJ's competition is because we've not seen any of those guys have success anywhere else for a frame of reference. It's just a pool of "guys DJ has beaten" except for Benevidez and Dodson who we've seen do really well a weight class up. He's also the first champ of that division of the UFC so he never got to take the crown away from a big name.

    My list:

Tier 1: GSP, Fedor, Silva, Jones (questionable), Aldo, DJ, Joanna, Cyborg
Tier 2: Cruz, Rousey, Hendo, Werdum, Cain, Conor, Cormier, Stipe
Tier 3: Nog, Shogun, Hughes, BJ, Edgar... Others like Holloway and Ferguson are on their way if not already there.

    I probably missed a billion

  12. This fight will happen. And it will be awesome.

I agree with Ariel. I think this is the only fight to make. I think the Diaz rubber match has lost a lot of its steam especially because Diaz himself has sat out this entire time. So I would honestly be surprised if they made that one over the title unification.

Only other option I can possibly see is if McGregor somehow talks himself into a Welterweight title shot which would be stupid but not out of the realm of possibility.

Won't happen. No way they'll let him take the belt and then never appear again.

Rousey made an appearance a few years ago while champion and it hasn't been a secret that WWE has been trying for this for a while. I bet it happens in some capacity

I was being sarcastic, just referencing how he leaves town once he wins a belt. Haha. I would not doubt that he pops in at some point. It would be huge.

I was hoping Choi would get his wish but that was a long shot. Hopefully they give him a decent fight though. Choi v Stephens would be fun.

  22. Wow so the Winnipeg card is stacked and it’s not even a ppv

    Lawler v Dos Anjos
    Aldo v Lamas
    Perry v Ponzinibbio

I feel like this might be a make or break fight for Aldo. He's got a lot of pride, I don't think he's taken his more recent losses very well.

3 rounder for Aldo too. First time in forever.
