  1. Can't believe McCarthy let Jones land 9 head shots before stopping that fight. DC was fucked up.

    Jones messed DC up.

Great, great fight. DC got clocked and game over.

    That was pretty disturbing.

The problem with Woodley is the dude is incredibly boring in and out of the cage.

Jones is unbelievable. DC came out looking like he had made the proper adjustments (which is still fighting evenly with Jones) and then bam. At this point, I'm pretty sure Jones could lose his next 10 straight and I would still consider him the GOAT. There's been no one in the sport that's ever been this consistently dominant against that level of competition.

Am I the only one not interested in a Lesner fight?

It's about time we got the Jones-Gus rematch.

    Great card, happy I watched.

Cerrone/Lawler could have went either way. Not mad at the decision, but it would have been nice to have two more rounds.

Cyborg's fight was uncomfortable. Evinger is incredibly tough and deserves praise, but you could tell she was in deep water from the start. Holm v Cyborg would have me interested.

I can appreciate Woodley's game plan and execution, stuffing every takedown attempt is incredible. But damn, was that a boring fight to watch. Please don't give him another specialist in his next fight. Please.

Jones/DC was what it was. Jon clearly has his number. DC did some good things, but I never felt that he was in real danger. I don't necessarily think Big John went it go too long, that's just how this sport shakes out sometimes. The Lesnar fight would be fun, but a Gus rematch would be good too.

Please stop interviewing guys after a knockout. Seriously. I don't know if Rogan did it on his own, or production told him to go over and do it, but DC was not in any condition to be on the mic, you could tell that immediately after the finish. Let them clear the cobwebs and save it for the presser.

I didn't have a problem with it either. DC has one of the best chins in the sport, you have to allow him that time to recover. Especially considering the stakes of the fight.

I agree with the post-fight interviews needing to be held off until the presser though. To Joe's credit, he's apologized several times for the interview. It's so awkward because sometimes it's clear that the guy who just got KO'ed has no idea what happened so they can't reasonably answer the questions or know exactly how they feel. He still needed to come to terms with the fact that he just got stopped for the first time by a guy who he really hates. Too much for a guy to handle as he is still trying to get his wits about him.

A few days later, and thinking of my own bjj experience, Woodley blanking Maia on takedowns is so amazing. Fight was still boring as hell, but I really hope no one loses sight of how incredible that was.

If he keeps it up he'll be the Mayweather of MMA. Kind of already is, just less fights.

Was at 214 this past Saturday...incredible event to be at. I've been a number of UFC cards in the Pacific Northwest (Portland/Seattle/Vancouver B.C. and so they obviously weren't as strong as 214 but man, that was a lot of fun on Saturday.

Bought a ticket about three hours before the first bout for $350 in the upper deck (luckily it was in the first row and the view wasn't bad at all). I figured I'd be kicking myself if I turned out the rare opportunity I would have again to see JBJ fight...glad I did.

  12. I used to find Joe Martinez suuuuper annoying but he’s won me over tonight lol

I figured that's probably more or less how it went....but I also would like to see the 8 rounds after that where Conor was exhausted haha

Paulie ate that left. Also, can this fight just be done already?

Just started discussing plans with friends for this. 100$ is steep so I plan to hopefully watch with at least 4 people. Can't not act like i'm excited.

Sounds like the commission is about to approve 8oz gloves for the MayMac fight.

I don't care much for it either but at the same time, I am ridiculously over waiting for Khabib. He's fought twice in 3+ years.

Yeah, I'm tired of the blue balls from Khabib. Especially trying to set up that match with Tony. Pretty sure it's been cursed because they've scheduled it three times now with one getting to the day of the fight.
