He called out Max? That’s some geek shit. Even with his streak, he has beat nobody even close to the top 10 lol
My main issue with it was that Max isn’t even a FW anymore but even if he was, he’s still another two fights away from that and needs some names on his resume first.
Man this card has been wild. One of the best in a while. Never thought I would see Leon get flattened like that. The face he made was eerily similar to the one Karamu made when he got KOed by Leon.
The replay looked like the original knockdown shot caught in the air hoping back but that follow up sealed it.
Yeah I can’t believe both were blowouts but you just never know. Man, Welterweight quickly became the best division by a mile. This might be the deepest it’s ever been. Islam, JDM, Shavkat, Garry, Prates, Morales, Buckley, MVP (if he decides to come back down) etc. previous champs still in there like Belal, Usman, Leon.. Imagine if on top of this, Khamzat was able to drop back down (won’t happen). Edit: even forgot Brady lol
Islam still looked huge at 170. Some really good contenders in the division but his size combined with that grappling... Wouldn't be surprised if he's looking for a challenge at 185 after 2-3 more fights.
I feel so sorry for Tom, he's the UFC heavyweight champion and Dana can't be arsed to even check up on him
Bumping this old post of mine from four years ago to say that this is the fifth card that Jan and Yan have had in common. Once you notice, you’ll realize how many times you hear Jan Yan Jan Yan all night. Haha.
Ugh, gutted for Pantoja. For as short of a fight as that was, it was looking like it was going to be a wild one too. Pantoja was getting AFTER it.
