Happy for for Volk but after round 1 he looked very hesitant to engage and lucky that Lopez lacked the skills to force him.

Yeah beforehand I sort of thought this was an easy win for Volk on paper going solely off of skills. The main wild card was whether Volk has sort of fallen off due to age or if his previous KO losses would make him hesitant against a heavy hitter.

He looked good for the most part though but still not sure how much longer he’ll stick around.

 

Great card. Volk is so crafty and skillful. I think you do Evloev next which would be a very high level matchup. Patty looked phenomenal. I think it’s either Topuria or a title shot next. You can’t waste this momentum. Lopes/Yair seems like a lock for Noche. Jean Silva is so fun to watch and might be my new favorite fighter. Gimme Reyes/Ulberg for a title shot.

 

Paddy vs Ilia in Madrid or London would be a massive fight. Olivera would be a fun fight too.
