Yeah Bo definitely looked human in that fight. I think, to his credit, he knows he's still pretty green and it's mainly everyone else's expectations that were off. His striking looked great before, but I think it's because a lot of the guys he was up against were so petrified by his wrestling threat that it opened up the striking for him quite a bit. Craig really didn't care about that at all, so Bo ended up looking pretty average against a below-average striker.
That main event was amazing. The UD and giving all five rounds to Yan doesn’t reflect how great Figgy looked even though it’s probably the correct score. I don’t think that loss sets Figgy back too much, but I’ll be curious to see what they do with Yan.
Yan looked on top of his game. Hoping he gets Umar or a rematch with Sean next. Doubt they give him the title shot vs Merab.
Crazy how much the UFC hates Aljo. Former champ coming off a win after going up a weight class. 3rd on the the prelims. Bryce Mitchel coming off getting knocked out by Emmett gets on the main card vs Kron for battle of the flat brains.
Choi vs Landwehr is a banger to open a main card but I don’t think it should be on there either BUT Kron vs Bryce is one of the most wasted slots on a main card in a long time. Especially with Aljo/Movsar underneath it. You could argue for Reyes/Smith too unfortunately.
Card is very deep this weekend, definitely flying under the radar. UFC is also discounting it $10 since they know it isn’t going to sell well lol
Kron is arguably the worst fighter on the entire main card/prelims. His last fight was one of the worst fights I’ve seen in a long time. Baffling to put him on the main card of any event let alone a card with stacked prelims.
Moicano vs Dariush Jiri vs Hill Holland vs De Ridder Jailton vs Spivac All announced for UFC 311. holy shiiiiiit
