Easily one the the best cards in history and maybe the best ever. Every fight except the Aljo fight delivered. I would love if Peirera was able to hop on the Rio card to give that card a real headliner.

The Max/Justin fight was insane. Justin lasting that long after the nose break and both eye pokes was crazy. Then Max throwing down at the end to get the KO with one second left? Legend shit.

 

The bit where Alex just held Herb Dean off before knocking Jamal out was so good.

 

Right after Alex won, I had a thought that I would love to see him against Jones or Aspinall. Low and behold, he ends up calling for a shot at Aspinall next month lol.

Also really excited for Max. Honestly, I think his best bet right now is to wait it out for Dustin vs. Islam. On the off chance Dustin manages to win, Max could easily slide in there for a title shot at 155. If not, the fight with Ilia is great too.

I think Max has a decent chance to win, but we've made the mistake in the past of getting way too pumped about about a "new and improved" Max only for him to not be able to adjust to the stylistic matchup of Volkanovski. So I'm not letting myself get too convinced that Max will win against Topuria just because of how good he looked this weekend.
