The commentary team said it best, he just rejects the idea of losing lol. He’s just single-minded when it comes to winning and doesn’t think about defense. Just moves forward trying to kill or be killed.

He was probably better overall but Oliveira had him within seconds of a finish twice…. Yeah I donno about that one.

 

I don’t think I would disagree with that decision going either way. Overall, I agree with it though.

Next fight is going to be wild. Think I’m favoring Justin. Max struggled with Volk’s leg kicks which is something Gaethje does well.

That said, rooting for Max all the way.
