Im excited for both cards tomorrow. I’m rooting for PFL to succeed and elbows being allowed will make it a bit more exciting. Gonna be a rare full day of MMA.
The production of the PFL always bugs me. The prelims were a very rough watch. I was hoping they’d change some things after buying Bellator. It’s funny that this small stadium isn’t even full. The Saudis paid them a ton, but it shows that the interest isn’t there locally. PFL is going to get slaughtered. Santos and Ferreira are the only PFL guys with a chance.
Aged well lol. Impa/Johnny was a great fight. That could have gone either way. This could be a clean sweep for Bellator, but who knows how Bader will look. Sometimes he looks like the best Heavyweight/Light Heavyweight in the world and then the next fight he doesn't show up at all.
Welp, I knew you couldn't put that much faith in Bader lol. But I don't fault him in that loss at all. You could tell he threw a feeler out there to gage the distance and didn't expect to be able to get hit from that far away. That dude's height and reach is insane.
Honestly that card was a lot more fun that I was expecting. The only glaring negative to me was the lack of lighting. It was very dark and hard to see at points. The pacing of the show was great compared to past PFL cards. Loved going from fight to fight without long video packages/analysis after every fight.
6’8. 85 inch reach and a lot of power. only seen him fight a few times but that’ll be a fun fight for Francis. And dangerous at that
Vadim at heavyweight is kinda spooky. That dude is a really great fighter. Didn’t catch what he weighed exactly
Fiziev said he’s been heard that the ufc is doing a 165lbs division and that it’s already “for sure” I’m gonna jump through my tv when they announce McGregor/Chandler for a 165lb belt
You know that's exactly what they'll do unless they are still set on it being a ridiculous "Middleweight" bout. Either way, they want to promote Conor as a four-division fighter, and even better if they could give him a golden ticket to becoming the first three-division champ in UFC history. Hell, they might even make a 160 lb division and just hand him that belt too at that point lol.
so from what I hear it seems like Nate and Conor is likely and maybe Nate and Masvidal sometime this year too? poor Chandler lol
Definitely. He looked like he was dying at the end of 2nd and could barely find the stool to sit on between rounds. Looked like he was hyperventilating and absolutely shouldn’t have been sent out for the 3rd.
It was odd too because he was doing some work on the guy when he took him down in round 2. He was unloading on him and then once he lost the top position, he was done for. This card has been sneaky good though. Every fight has delivered.
