Man 299 might have a better card than 300. Surprised they added even more to that one. Also, considering he said that the Olivera fight was a number one contender fight, I’m expecting Justin to defend his BMF title at 300 possibly against Max?

 

Shocked they didn’t put Dustin on 300.

Justin/Max makes sense. Islam isn’t gonna fight before summer since he’s hurt.

Not sure what direction they’re taking for 300.

Tom doesn’t have a proper contender to defend against.

I don’t think Hill is ready to fight so that leaves Alex with the winner Ank/Walker or an undeserved shot for Izzy

Leon/Belal is a great fight but I don’t think they make that the main event of 300. Probably co-main

Makes me wonder if they’re actively trying to bring back someone that’s been retired like they did with Brock for 200

I’m thinking Izzy is waiting in the wings. Either give him Alex or DDP/Strickland if either guy wins unscathed. Nate/Masvidal is not main event material and neither is Belal/Edwards. Justin/Max should main event over any of those. Something like this might work?

Weili/Xianon has to be on the card if they’re not going to China this year.

Nate/Masvidal doesn’t move me but it would be a big fight for casuals.

It would never happen but I’d love to see Georges fight one more time. I know he was scheduled to grapple Nick Diaz

 

I don’t buy for a second that Islam isn’t headlining the Saudi card.

 

That’s what I figured but Dana mentioned Charles/Arman is the #1 contender fight so we might not see Islam again until the Abu Dhabi card

It’s more likely that Islam doesn’t want to Train during Ramadan which I totally get. Belal kind of has no choice since he won’t get the title shot otherwise. Islam can fight whenever he wants lol

 

I don’t foresee Islam ever defending more than once or twice a year tbh. He’s likely going to be used for the Saudi cards (which now we’ll get twice a year, at least) since they’ve been on record of requesting him numerous times. Even putting aside the horrible shit over there, they’re definitely calling the shots for these UFC and Boxing cards with the amount of $ they’re forking out
