Colby’s comment about Leon’s dad who was murdered is so fucking low. I hope Leon knocks him the fuck out and Herb let’s it go just a little bit longer than it should.
yeah I’d like to believe it’s just a character but when he does shit like that, there’s just no excusing it. hope he gets what’s coming to him
Leon Pantoja Shavkat via whatever he wants I’m a little surprised Emmett is the underdog to Mitchell on 10 days notice and give me Tony just for the memes
I know there’s no “sure thing” in MMA, but Drake bet on Leon to win so that means Colby automatically wins.
I’m pretty sure he is only going to do a few more fights that are “super fights” against washed up LW’s. There’s absolutely no way he deals with Shavkat or Belal especially with how awful he looked tonight.
lol that fight was just as awful as I thought it would be. No one was asking for that. Rest of the card was incredible though.
Even though it was obvious MVP was ufc bound, I thought it was super weird Dana just announced a fight rather than the signing + a fight.
I really hate how every champ wants to be a double champ now. Defend your fucking title instead of holding every division up for superfights that nobody is clamoring for.
Definitely. That fight also doesn’t do much for either guy. Alex losing hurts his draw at LHW and Tom losing kills all of his momentum. Considering 300 is going to have a stacked card, I don’t see the point of doing that fight. Neither guy is a proven draw.
Plus there are tons of good fights for both guys right now within their respective divisions. I want to see them fight more contenders!
I think the UFC current line of thinking is Hill isn’t ready to fight/not healthy yet. If Ank beats Walker next month, you can argue a shot for Magomed. Or the other way too. I’m mostly surprised they’re not trying to do Alex/Izzy at 205 Aspinall has already said he’s not gonna sit out and wait around. Jones and Stipe are both gonna retire after that fight anyway. So that really only leaves Gane for him. Unless Jailton mops the floor with Blaydes
Was hoping for a bigger step up for Bo. It’ll be cool to see him open the prelims if that’s what they are actually doing.
