Crazy turn of events for Bantamweight. Aljo has looked unbeatable for a hot minute but that was a mean counter. I do think after having seen Lemos eat a thousand harder strikes over 25 minutes that the main event stoppage was early, but it’s a fun change up and I look forward to the rematch.

 

Great performance for Sugar Sean. My only fear is he is going to dodge a lot of guys he doesn’t see as stars and hold up the the division by picking his opponents. Like I love Chito, but he just got done getting washed in a non competitive fight by Sandhagen and didn’t exactly dominate Munoz. Dude definitely doesn’t deserve a title shot, but he’s getting it because he’s a big name and pretty beatable.

Guys like Sandhagen and Merab are going to be waiting a long time for title shots because they aren’t huge names and are the most difficult matchups for O’Malley.

 

I don’t know how to say this without it being “look at me” lol but I work at an IV hydration clinic that Weidman visits fairly often. After a few visits I finally acknowledged that I knew who he was and he was completely cool and we always talk ufc now when he comes in. He knew I was watching last night. And it was rough. And I don’t know what to say when I see him again lol
