This upcoming Grand Prix will play out over 2 years and they will end up using at minimum two alternates at some point. I really hope Francis does PFL or something else. Bellator seems like it’ll end sooner than later
Its because this card was originally supposed to be in South Korean with Korean Zombie headlining but plans didn’t go through. The undercard is mostly Korean fighters from the Road to UFC tournament. The late start is friendly to fans in South Korea and also avoids the obvious conflict with Bellator.
Watching this video and then remembering how I'm one second away from unfollowing the UFC on social media for spamming this Slap League nonsense... is not fun.
Fedor was the only one who wanted this, because you know Scott would get goofy and try to sign Overeem, JDS or someone else if that's what Fedor would have indicated. That said, Bellator is pretty much out of ideas at this point. If CBS decides to keep it, they need to revamp the whole thing. I've said it a whole bunch, but they've been lapped in the production aspect of all this. Time for a new name, new look, new announce crew, maybe a new promoter.
Rumor for TUF is the show will feature fighters that have been cut in the past and fighters that are new
holy fuck Max vs Arnold Allen in KC a month and a half after i move back there. I'm fired up right now!
Emmett is good, but he’s just one of those guys that doesn’t do any one thing that spectacularly. He has a lot of power, but his punches aren’t accurate enough for that to matter a lot of time nor is he some technician that will figure out a way to stifle your movement. I knew he was going to have trouble finding Yair in there with the way Yair moves and doesn’t let you get many reads with his unpredictability.
I bet we get three rounds of Volk picking him apart on the feet and two rounds of Islam dominating him on the ground. Such an interesting matchup lol.
Have a feeling we’re gonna be debating round 4 in this fight for a long time if this goes to a decision.
I love how we are getting PUMPED about a fighter spending the whole round with the guy on his back. I’ve never seen that before.
