FFS the pub that I watch PPVs at has a fucking dude playing covers in front of the big screen. What’s the fucking point. Better chug my beer and go elsewhere!
Lol take a look at the fight card and more importantly the fights that we’re after Moreno-Pantoja 1 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFC_Fight_Night:_Maia_vs._Usman
You could argue that Pereira isn’t even the best 185er and also that he could go and become a double champ at 205 lol
Happy for Hill as I think he fought really well rounded and was kinda slept on. No doubt he’ll be debated as the undisputed best in his division until he nabs wins over Jiri and Magomed though.
Yeah LHW is in an odd place right now. You have like three (or four) people trying to make a claim for being the actual best. Haha. Then Pereira trying to get into the mix. Hopefully now we have a clear path forward though - Hill defends against Ankalaev (or Jan if he’s the only one ready) and then the winner gets Jiri when he returns.
I would really love to see Alex fight a few more Middleweights first. By a few more I mean Whittaker. I want to see him fight Robert Whittaker.
If Rob's not fighting Costa next, his next fight just has to be for the belt. Against either Alex or Izzy.
I only suggest Alex being in the mix at Light Heavyweight because I think it's inevitable that he moves up in weight, permanently, sooner than later (rather than temporarily move up for a super fight). The dude is massive and now no longer has Glover occupying part of the top 3. Sure, it would be fun to have him fight Rob, but I also think they'll try to push a rematch with Adesanya before anything. So I just don't know if Alex will hang around Middleweight long enough for that to even happen.
I seriously think Colby's lawsuit isn't going to let him fight any time soon. Burns/Belal would be fun.
