Leon by ref stoppage after an elbow opens Diaz up. A Diaz bro literally can’t go five rounds anymore. Bleeds too much
PFL has a pretty stupid point system IMO, but I appreciate that they’re trying to be different and they’ve got a cool crew so far. Really weird feeling when I hear Lilian Garcia announcing MMA fighters lol. But I also don’t mind Couture and Florian as commentators, and the fact that Claressa Shields is about to fight there in just over a month is quite crazy. Feel like it should be a bigger deal than the attention it’s currently getting. Meanwhile, Floyd and the Paul brothers continue to make headlines.
PFL event tonight, featuring Usman's brother, Mohammed Usman, fighting at heavyweight - looks like a beast. You know where to get the streams Mohammed Usman ready to break out and win $1 million PFL heavyweight title
Barring some shocker I think Werdum should win it. Submission game is still slick enough to tap those dudes.
I actually really like the PFL point system. It incentives finishing fights as opposed to grinding out decisions, which for a lower tier organization like them can go a long way.
Both fighters pretty weak with their boxing/punching skills; I get the impression neither have the power to finish the fight
Damn I did not realize that Paul had taken his antics so far as to get himself actually beat up by Mayweather and his crew today. Don’t think it’s professional by any means, but it’s not like the kid hasn’t been asking for it at every turn, crossing the lines as fast as possible.
Usman only recently got into a better camp, so I think with much more extensive training, he'll get much quicker, with more accurate punching technique. This defeat should really give him the drive to work harder and get better
Harrison dominates everyone she faces so far. Will be interesting to see if PFL has anyone who’s as strong as her. If you didn’t watch her last fight, she massacres her opponent.
