does Weidman get cut with a loss this weekend?
2-5 in his last 7, he’s 36. seems like UFC is parting ways with a lot of these old stars.

 

I’d say most definitely. He probably makes a more than he is worth especially if he loses.

 

If he gets finished badly again, most likely. That man has suffered significantly since USADA. Can’t help but wonder.

It happened with quite a few top fighters. Sad but true, PED’s of all sorts were quite common for some time.

I know even my favorite of all time, GSP, had rumors of it. But honestly, the man is such a healthy person which is somewhat of an obsession for him that I really don’t think so. Never tested positive once. I still think regardless if he might have at any point, he was the best all around in terms of being great at striking/grappling/submissions/cardio/IQ that I ever saw perform against top guys of all different fighting backgrounds.

Jones is right there with him, but a confirmed cheat multiple times so it’s tarnished.

 

I personally still have some suspicions about GSP but I feel like Anderson and Jones kinda swayed me that way with them popping over time.

 

I’ve also just come to terms that most top top professional athletes are probably on gas or were at some point so I don’t really care anymore lmao

Yeah that’s fucked.

My favorite era of MMA was pride and not a single one of those mother fuckers were clean.

I understand it looks BEYOND bad if you’re juiced and legitimately fucking ruin someone’s life (Belfort/Bisping) but how many cases like that have we had?

I know Jones has had his moments too, but didn’t the UFC also withhold the results of Vitor’s failed pre-fight drug test in order to let the fight go on? Jones almost got his arm broken by a roided up Vitor because of that.

This is a good watch. I love how GSP spent his money on exactly what you think he would. Bought his family stuff, loaned money to friends, bought training gear, got a modest condo and car.......then YOLO'd out on some dinosaur fossils.

 

I love his obsession with Dinosaurs. Whenever he discusses them on IG he’s grinning with excitement like a kid in a candy shop.

 

I think it was last summer, but it was pretty neat when he did that video dump on Instagram and uploaded all of that stuff from all of his trips over the last few years. He went on a lot of safaris but also traveled to a lot of the hot spots for dinosaur digs (Argentina, northern Africa, etc.) I'd probably watch the hell out of a GSP/dino hunt reality show.

 

Yeah that was great. Did you see the footage of him almost being charged by a silverback? The man looked shook haha.
