What a weird ending for that fight. Never seen that before. Always love seeing Dr Watson in there though. I worked in the ER with him when I lived in Vegas and he’d always tell me crazy UFC and boxing stories. He’s the best doc I’ve ever worked with. Brilliant dude.
Bisping still can suck as a commentator with ease. Let’s ask the fighter in their post-fight victory interview “what was going through your head when she landed that right and you hit the canvas?”
Lmao I turned on the Askren/Paul stream to peep and I see a low blow being faked and boner jokes being made. Good grief. And they have Bieber awkwardly performing to nearly no one? How does anyone take it seriously.
Whittaker looked great. Can’t wait to see him v Israel again. Kelvin is still one of my favorites. I hate that he gets fed to the top 3 guys all the time haha but he always puts on a good fight.
Whittaker is so good, easily one of my favourite fighters. Gastelum is fucking tough though, just kept coming.
I honestly could see the whole boxing thing having been staged. It’s not even funny, just annoying to me hearing those asshole’s talk about their fights like they’re real boxers. All he needed was that win to happen so he could use it to try and legitimize himself in combat sports. Ben got 500k plus, and has no issue at all losing as evident by the Masvidal loss. He only became more popular from it and was shown trotting away from the ring smiling with no medical attention or help. Just his arm around his wife. Idk how they paid so many celebs to be at that dumb event.
not even worth your time to think about tbh that was the biggest shitstorm I've ever seen and I watched Tito-Chuck 3 Oscar needs to get off the blow
That’s the worst part, I can’t not think about it because I follow 3 or 4 mma pages, snoop and a few others who have been non stop posting about it on social networks.
That UFC card was a slog to get through last night. At least the main event was good. Don't think Rob has anything for Izzy, but he deserves the shot.
Has to be the longest serving fighter in UFC history, right? As long as he keeps avoiding picking up any major injuries or KO’s, and keeps picking up wins every few fights, might as well keep the fight paychecks coming
I haven’t seen it yet but I had no idea Arlovski got a side role in the Equalizer 2. Good for him. Legend working with legends.
I watch multiple good fights on that card. The heavyweight match ending with a win off a dramatic response to a soft low blow sucked, but outside of that I enjoyed it.
It's anecdotal, but their pacing always feels miserable when they have a lot of (mostly boring) decisions. How this card went six hours when two fights were scrapped is mind boggling. That said, the main event was high level and the Pena/Munoz fight was good. Meerschaert's submission was pretty slick too. Definitely some good moments, but it'd be nice if they sped things up a bit.
