I just joked about Jon's money demands, but Dana's such a knob about paying anyone. Better call Lorenzo in to make this deal

 

They should have the fight in a stadium in Africa somewhere; FNB Stadium in Johannesburg perhaps (near 100,000 people)

Edit: Then again, considering Covid, I now realize this would not happen this year, haha (South African strain particularly bad). So most likely Abu Dhabi, July or August

Fun card tonight that was better than I anticipated. It’s going to be weird having a crowd for the next PPV. I don’t agree with the decision at all, but I will say it ads some intrigue along with the stacked card.

 

I mean who else would they event want to ask? Ngannou could fight tomorrow. It’s Ngannou vs Jones this summer and there’s no way they don’t make that happen.

When he’s healed, I’d like to see Stipe face Lewis and then get a shot at redemption.

 

Stipe and Lewis intrigues me a lot more than Lewis fighting Gane. I’d be down with that fight and maybe have Gane fight Blaydes.

 

Francis talking about wanting to fight 2-3 times a year minimum. Lol.

Francis looked incredible. I squeeled in horror when he thew that headkick.

watching him sprawl and take Stipe’s back was actually shocking.

 

I fell asleep at 11pm. watched this morning and hoooooooly shit.

NCAA D1 Ngannou new mythical fighter. What a remarkable improvement. And one that is legitimately terrifying.

I think they’ll eventually fight but id be hesitant about it after seeing how he looked last night.

That was a completely different Francis

 

What’s scary to me is that Francis is not only better technically now, but he also got over a huge psychological hurdle last night. Stipe dominated him for five rounds before and made him pay for throwing heavy shots early on. He could have easily been gun shy again, but he showed nothing but confidence and discipline.

Idk when Jones lost his thick skin but he lets everything get to him now. It’s surprising how often he’s set off by people’s comments and posting online about it.

 

Yeah, I get that he's done impressive stuff but he needs to chill lol.

 

This is a pretty wild take. He's bad at Tweeting, but he for sure deserves the money.

 

Yeah at this age, and for all that he did accomplish which is a very high set bar, I would ask for a solid pay day too to put it all on the line against that behemoth.

Also this made me laugh.

 

He had a very good point though.

Jones doing this labeled him as scared.

Conor doing it is fine because he deserves to be paid.

 

I don’t necessarily like Jon at this point but he deserves to be paid by the company that publicly labels him (and many many others) as the greatest of all time.

Pay him that way.
