Just throwing it out there, if you are set on fighting, you shouldn't be telling the press that it hurts to stand. What did he honestly think the commission would do?
For anyone interested in this sort of thing, I chatted with Cody Garbrandt the other day for this fitness/diet series I do for GQ now: The Real-Life Diet of UFC Bantamweight Cody Garbrandt
Roasted him on that Pop Tart question haha. Two days, unreal. Hopefully I can get to that mindset in 2017.
don't know all the details, but i've been reading about this for a few weeks now. seems like the company is pushing him out, but im not entirely sure
Damn that's a shame. Goldy is great. And I know he always wanted to do NFL but it didn't work out like he hoped it would. Maybe Bellator would take him but still it's a step down for him
Rome is essentially all but confirmed and most are not happy about it. Idc either way, the dude is a huge drama queen and UFC seems to be becoming a soap opera anyways.
I remember his lone NFL game getting panned pretty hard. He hasn't been all that great (or improved) as a play-by-play guy, but I can't buy into Jim Rome being the answer. I read something that said "he's an idiot, but he's our idiot" which is probably the best you could say about him.
Looks like weigh ins are going successfully.....Oh, until we get to Hendricks. Should have known he wouldn't make weight.
