It’s also weird that the regular mma fan hates Greg Hardy but loves Rumble. both are massive pieces of shit
Not what I expected but also not surprising - Mighty Mouse says he’ll never fight at 125 again and also that he’s most definitely going to finish out his career in One. He says he has “a lot” of fights left on his contract as well. I was not aware that the One “flyweight” title he’s about to compete for is actually at 135 lbs.
Threats, gag orders and more — Fighters and employees throw serious allegations at ONE Championship Not surprising. Chatri is such a cornball.
Seems like Yoel might be Bellator bound now. And have seen some rumblings that a LHW tournament may be in the works over there. Nemkov, Yoel, Rumble, Corey Anderson, Bader, Davis, Machida etc. I’d definitely watch.
This could be really good honestly. Toss Mousasi in there for good measure since he could possibly be retiring relatively soon.
Usually tournaments come when a division is clogged with a lot of good competitors. But generally they do wind up creating good fights. Unless you’re Michael Page, then you just get exposed as a can crusher lol.
I'm 50/50 on tournaments, but definitely do not want them during covid. Just have these dudes all fight each other in some fashion.
This is the way tbh. Even if it’s a co-main slot, I think two fighters ranked in the top 5-10 that are against each other should be a 5 rounder always. Tony/Oliveira should’ve been 5 rounds.
I think it needs to be a case by case thing though. There are some top ranked heavyweights that I would never want to watch fight a 5 rounder.
I think it’s a great idea and a way for guys who are getting closer to a title fight some five round experience especially when it comes to a PPV card. If Tony-Olivera were on a fight night it would easily be a main event five round fight.
Torres was going to finish her soon anyways. I’d probably quit or fake an injury if I was getting dominated like that lol
