Don't agree with that at all. Had max winning first 3 rounds.

 

What an excellent card so far, but idc what anyone says, Max won that fight much in the same way Alex won the first one. I’m mad for him.

Judges love takedowns. Even when they’re pointless. That’s probably what won the fight for Volk.

 

Yeah I also had Max winning that for sure. I wouldn’t call it a robbery because the last three rounds were close, but I also wouldn’t have disagreed with 4-1 Max either. Shitty fight to judge, but I still feel like Max should have gotten the nod.

 

The Takedowns weren't even until the last two rounds. I think the kicks won Volk the third though I don't agree with it. Max was more aggressive therefore he had octagon control imo even if the numbers were close.

 

Masvidal gonna gas himself out

 

Usman went completely back to the form that got him here.

 

Knew this was going to be a grind. He has no reason not to utilize this style because Masvidal has no answer (which was to be expected).

 

Pretty much what I expected. Good for Usman, happy for him.

Exactly what Usman needed to do. After the 1st round he knew he had to grind and did exactly that.

But it was boring for sure.

Usman found out quickly he couldn’t stand and strike like he did with Colby. Then he tried to take Jorge down and struggled. So he pinned him against the cage and chipped away. Boring but fair strategy.

 

Yeah, not even close to Woodley/Thompson or Ma is Territory. Usman was agressive for the most part while Woodley hardly engaged.

 

Dana can suck it if he complains. If you can't stop the clinch or takedowns then you deserve to lose. It would be dumb for Usman to stand and bang with superior strikers.

 

Yeah, I don’t know if anyone really cares about Dana getting upset. Usman had a smart strategy to wear Jorge down and he did just that. He was pretty aggressive and tactical and minimized putting himself in positions to catch a knee. Sorry but if I’m a world class wrestler and that’s my best shot at winning against a guy who can knock me out cold at any moment, I’m taking it lol
