Thompson going for the submission kept that from being a win from him. Keeps the title...but man, if he steps back he ends that fight in 20s

 

Not sure how that last judge gave Woodley the win. Thompson won 3 rounds. It's either a draw or Thompson win.

Either way...Woodley retains.

 

I was SCREAMING at the tv that Woodley doesn't win when two judges score it a draw. What a clusterfuck.

Glad he retained it but no one "lost". I love both guys.

I say do Woodley vs. Maia because Thompson will probably get a medical suspension and be out a while. That guy has the fucking heart of a champion if I've ever seen one.

 

Yeah that's a rematch that for sure needs to happen, assuming Woodley gets past his next challenger

I didn't expect pure domination at all. Conor was just so on tonight, one of the best performances I think I have ever seen

 

Ireland beats New Zealand in rugby last weekend (first time in 111 years), Muenster rugby beats Maori All Blacks in rugby, and now Conor wins again. Ireland has been doing pretty well in sports recently

I fucking loved the co-main. Those two are two of my favorites and I had such a hard time picking against either of them. A draw was possibly the best way that could have worked out. Haha. The way Wonderboy survived and came back will go down as one of the most epic moments ever in the sport.
