How is Arlovski alive with 19 losses at HW?

Not impressed with OSP at HW. He should have came out with more urgency in rounds 1 and 2.
I think he gets pushed around by anyone bigger than him and his speed isn't enough especially since he looked gassed.

 

How did Smith survive that round

I was just waiting for someone in his corner to say "you won that round" so I could laugh my ass off

 

I feel like Smith still has a pretty good ways to go insofar as competing with the best guys in his division

and his corner certainly didn't do him any favors tonight either. I could barely hear any of the color commentary because they would not shut the fuck up

 

Yeah his corner did him no favors by telling him to go all out in the first few rounds. I feel like he could have won if he paced himself and kept his distance.

Also terribly late stoppage that the Ref could have stopped way earlier and his corner should have thrown in the towel after the 4th. That was awful.

 

Saturday’s card also look fun

 

Man, hearing Smith say his teeth were coming out made me wince. A tough loss for him. Glover remains impressive at his age.

Not that I ever wish negative shit on fighters, but maybe getting battered for a second time there will finally get Hernandez to stop talking shit.

 

Glover cared more about Smith than his own corner tonight. You could tell he did not want to brutalize this dude anymore than he already did.

 

There’s audio recording of him actually apologizing mid-fight while he had Smith’s back.

 

Dober looked great, time to give him a boost in competition. The old heavy's, Arlovski and Rothwell, looked good too. Rothwell was throwing heavy shots.

I don't even know what to say about that Smith fight.

 

OSP just looked overpowered. I hope he reconsiders the jump to HW. He was actually gaining some momentum in LHW so I don’t know why he moved up.

Arlovski looked the best I’ve seen him in a long time (as far as his physique). I always bet against him but when I saw him get in the octagon I knew he was about to beat me lol

I think DC and Felder were right when they talked about Smith not being the same after that shot to the eye. Something was definitely bothering him right after that punch. His medical reports said he has a broken orbital, I wonder if it was on that punch. That moment of being stunned lead to even more damage and the fight was just brutal the rest of the way. Probably should’ve stopped it before the 4th even started.
