What an incredible fight. I think the judges got it right, 1/2/5 Zhang on my card, but I’m all for running it back whenever both women are ready.

 

I think Joe (or maybe DC) said it right, Joanna had the volume but Zhang did way more damage.

 

Well, as far as the first title fight goes, check and check!

God that was amazing. There were like 4 strikes landed from each fighter in every single exchange. Honestly a really tough one to call, but I felt like it was 2-2 going into the fifth and Joanna got hurt just a little more in that last one. She had a great poker face considering what was going on with the physical damage she was showing, but she definitely seemed to be retreating just a bit more at that point. Those punches to the face were finally catching up to her.
