I'll give you the Strikeforce one, he never got to fight Jones and it's a shame. But he did fight Rampage and then Anderson immediately following, so he's squared away on the PRIDE belts in my book.

They got unified/dissolved, but the organization went away so it's not like people are still competing for that PRIDE belt. haha.

It's weird. I should be going for Hendo. But I'm going for Bisping.
He was one of the first fighters I felt endered to when I first started watching in 2009 and kinda feel I've done the ride with him was so happy when he one last fight it would feel strange for me now to cheer Hendo

Hendo for me. Mostly on a vote of personality. Much like Diaz, I have trouble rooting for an ignorant asshole.

There are a few people who are kind of known for being frontrunners (Rumble, Woodley, Ellenberger), but man Vitor is the worst. Every fight where he doesn't go straight out and blast his opponent, he turns into a punching bag. It's like he only knows how to be a fighter for two minutes.

Rewatching the main event - I personally had it Henderson 1, 2, and 5, but I really don't think there was a wrong way to score that one. Round 5 was about as close of a round as you could get, but I thought Henderson was the aggressor, landed the better shots, and grabbed that takedown for a second even.

Even with giving Round 5 to Henderson, I was even on the fence giving him Round 2. He landed that great knocked, but I mean, Michael had been clearly winning the whole rest of that round. I don't know. Sucks to see Hendo go out on a loss where he was THAT close to getting the belt and took virtually no damage.

  14. I think Henderson won round 2 somewhat clearly. That one part where Bisping was chasing him and Henderson looked hurt was more because of a nut shot and not because Henderson was heavily effected by the previous punch. He was running back looking for a stop of the fight because of the kick. I think the perception of that part was different for a lot of people. And in round 5 Henderson landed some nice shots and has a takedown.

Yeah I definitely had it scored for him, but I was just saying, I wasn't surprised seeing it live that a judge would still score that for Bisping. Henderson did not seem the slightest bit phased by anything Bisping did the entire fight, so it's kind of shitty that he lost based on "activity". I was pretty confident that he was going to win 1, 2, and 5 but what can you do?

    I had Bisping 3-2. Maybe even 4-1
But only cause he was so busy and Hendo was just waiting for the huge knockout.
With out MMA scoring I'd even say Hendo won. But it so hard to give someone rounds even with those awesome 2 knockdowns he landed and the face damage they caused

It was a strange fight, and even with my incredible bias towards Hendo, I would never say he clearly won. It was a bizarre fight in that it was a fun one to watch, but neither fighter really did much aside from Hendo's two knockdowns. Bisping won the fight with constant nagging shots while never really landing anything of substance, and Hendo did...well, not a whole lot of anything in rounds 2-4 aside from the one punch that floored Bisping early.

I think Hendo was trying harder to pace himself after Round 2 because he had gone for the finish in both of the first two rounds. In my opinion, I think he should have tried his luck at the takedown. Not only does he have an advantage there (despite Bisping's great defense), he always has so much better luck landing that big shot when he creates scrambles like that. Sitting on the outside letting Bisping pepper him with little punches and kicks didn't do too much for him. He needed to have him backing up, but I just don't think he had the agility at that age.

Rousey - Nunes just announced for the NYE Card on Dec 30th.

Dana says that if Ronda beats Nunes, the Cyborg fight would be next. Huh.

Gee. It's taken her a year to get back in the cage after a rattling then sent to the wolves with Cyborg

I kinda think Nunes might eat her carcass on live television.

I've never cared much for Rousey, so this news doesn't really move the needle for me. Even if she does win, I think she gets pasted by Cyborg (if it's at a catchweight).

Will be watching. Still consider Rousey a great fighter. Is that gonna be for the title?

Also, Cyborg will eat her alive imo.

Yeah I think Nunes will be a huuuge problem for her. Especially after the way she's been virtually silent since the loss to Holly. The uphill mental battle she will have coming back combined with the ring rust... Fighting someone with the skill set of Nunes will be tough.
