he definitely underestimated him and that’s why he lost

 

I’ll never understand two judges scoring 30-27 opposite ways

Very rarely I can understand it. The first amateur MMA event I ever judged had a bunch of close fights that were hard to score, but the last fight was two heavyweights who circled and jabbed the WHOLE fight. Pretty sure two of us scored it completely opposite lol

When I lived in Vegas one of the docs I worked with also does most of the fights in Vegas. He always tells me the only reason he’d ever stop a fight is if he thought the person would die by going back out there. There’s no way he’d stop Diaz tonight.
