We'll probably get the Izzy/Costa fight early next year. Izzy doesn't take much time between fights at all.

As long as he has the belt, it'll be defended pretty damn frequently.

 

That was so damn impressive. I knew one of those hooks was going to land cleanly eventually. He was practicing check hooks right before the fight in the locker room so I thought that would be what did it for him, but it was still a hook nonetheless.

He is so good at rolling with every shot and never being out of position. Just look at his stance compared to Whittaker’s in the last exchange.

 

Costa looked great last time he fought, so you know he'll train harder than he's ever trained for the fight against Adesanya - should be mega

 

How long until Izzy goes back to saying he’d fight Jones at 205? One title defense?

Wow I’ll never doubt Izzy again at 185. I thought Rob was going to be a huge test for Adesanya but Israel performed on a whole other level. Everyone knows he’s got such great patience, great movement and great fight IQ but the power he possesses to be able to knock out Whittaker in round 2 like that really says it all.
