Have no idea what to say back to that. How did I wind up here? I guess I’m not an unsung grinder cause he didn’t pick me hahaha.

But also like, he’s returned regularly for about a week and a half, and who knows how long before I even picked up on it? How long do you need to watch me before you can know if I’m grinding to your level?

Listening to Masvidal on Lebatard makes me want to root for him but I love Nate so I don’t know haha

 

It's one of those fights where I'm cool with it going either way. Probs rooting for Nate though.

 

Honestly, if we're being fair, it is a bit of luck that Masvidal has the attention he does right now. A combination of two back to back KO's of high-potential fighters and just saying the right/entertaining things on camera has gotten him here over the past year. But before that, Masvidal has generally always been a sort of middle of the road guy to me. He seems to have a good camp behind him and the stars are aligning, but it's much more impressive to me to see Diaz getting the praise he is, and to come back and beat somebody like Pettis who was on a hot streak after 3 years is nothing to brush off.

 

Man I am stoked for that Adesanya/Whittaker fight, I forgot how impressive Adesanya was during the Gastellum fight I can't wait to see if he can keep it going. If he beats Whittaker he can hit a new stratosphere of being a star imo

 

@currytheword are you a grinder? Are you grinding in anonymity? Are your stories just you grinding in a kickboxing or BJJ class? Should you just move to Nashville and start training with Chandler to up your grind? Keep grinding though.
