Popular and fascinating because his style has had 0 issues getting wins across not only top guys, but also a diverse array of guys, none of which have found the answer.

Heartbreaking to see how hard Dustin is being on himself. Some of these fighters really just look at it as a sport and a job, and others like Dustin live to be a top MMA fighter. It’s almost like he feels this will be his only shot at it, and I feel that couldn’t be farther from the truth. I’ve got no doubt we’ll see him fight for the title again before his career is over.

  5. I was definitely lowkey rooting for Dustin to get the win. It's super depressing to see how he was beating himself up. It was very much like DC when he lost to Jon.

As for Khabib, god damn. There's a moment in every single one of his fights where you can see the exact moment that he breaks his opponent and just makes them realize that they can't do anything and they aren't going to win. I know he doesn't want to fight forever and has talked about retiring sooner rather than later but I'd be pretty confident on him retiring undefeated.
Not everyone has to like his fights but we haven't really seen someone dominate people like this.

It's also funny that the closest Khabib has even been to defeat was against GLEISON FUCKING TIBAU. Years ago, but still funny to think back on and remember that people thought Tibau actually won that fight.

Kongo quit and took the easy way out last night. Embarrassing. Feel bad for Bader.

Khabib is just sort of a different version of GSP honestly (still really would have liked to have seen that fight). He’s more of a specialist than GSP, but he’s still so dominant that I can’t see anyone beating him twice. He might get caught a time or two in his career, but he will most likely win a rematch.

I won’t pretend I didn’t say it earlier, but I honestly thought Dustin would have had more for Khabib than that. He got shut down like everyone else. I’ve said it for years, but Tony is the best fight for him stylistically. I think he definitely CAN beat him, but WILL he? Who the hell knows.

Yeah what a sad situation for Bader. Honestly can't say whether or not he could see, but i've seen far worse eye pokes that fighters have recovered from and kept going after. He was losing that fight bad, and I think he took the easy no contest.

It wasn’t even an eye poke though! All the replays I saw show that Bader actually poked him in the nose and then Kongo immediately reached for his left eye claiming he couldn’t see. The only thing that hit him in the eye was a legal uppercut.

Bader said at the post fight presser he could feel Kongo breaking and then he took the easy way out to avoid a loss, and I think that’s exactly what happened.

Bellator going to Bellator, and then Rampage starting shit? At least the featherweights had some decent fights before that. Hope Bader moves on to some other fights now, no one wanted this fight to start with and no one wants a rematch.

I think a BMF belt is corny, but if they made it a superfight belt like the old days, I'd be here for it.

Anyway, if you haven't seen Detail with Cormier going over Khabib's style then do yourself a favor and watch it.

I think it would be corny if it were someone like Cejudo fighting for it. Or actually, anyone else outside of Masvidal and Diaz. But for them it seems fitting.

Chael said it best, make it an old school Superfight, belt included, and the fighters can coin it BMF belt or whatever. If the UFC coins it, it's just WWE-ish and lame, but that's just my opinion.

  13. Glad to hear he’s happy with the deal he got. I’m assuming ‘PPV’ points + a flat amount for just showing and fighting without a win bonus for him and Diaz

Chael has been making so many fucking videos lately

dude's kinda starting to make the same video over and over now

  16. I wish PPV numbers were still made public. I’d be really interested in seeing the numbers Diaz can pull in a main event slot now.

Just by looking at his last fight in terms of social media numbers + tweets + google trends, he was like ten times more talked about than anyone else on that card.

  17. Gonna be Jan.

Would like to be surprised and see a heavyweight fight. Doesn’t even need to be a big one. Pull an Anderson and test the division above you.

Too be fair, I think they're mostly just cuts from his podcast repacked for YouTube, but whoever is handling his channel has been busy. Which, good for him, he's doing fine outside of fighting.

Anyway, give me one more Jones fight this year not Cormier though.

  19. Poirier said he wants Conor

I'd be down for that, Conor really should have fought Cerrone when he had the chance. Don't know who he beats at lightweight. Maybe Felder?

  21. Wasn't Conor lined up to fight Gaethje but broke his hand in training? I'd be down for him getting the winner of this weekend's fight.

You must fix your heart Supporter

I'd be much more interested in him fighting one of those three than Khabib.

  23. I think he's better than those three and that's why he should take one of those fights. He needs a win. Not saying it'd be an automatic win or anything but Conor is still really, really good. Get another impressive win and then go after a title.

  24. I think Conor would handle Cowboy. It seems like Cerrone chokes in the spotlight.

Conor vs Gaethje is just a fun fight all around.

Dustin is probably the hardest fight for him out of the three just because he has improved a ton.

And I have zero interest in seeing a rematch vs Khabib. I just don’t think that’s a fight Conor can win at all

  25. tbf....there may not be a person on the planet that can beat Khabib lol
