Not sure if you are throwing sarcasm at me or not BUT....

I wouldn't have had any issue with that however from a business perspective, you just can't do that because you know the second that happens, Bellator is backing up the brinks truck and skyrocketing their business.

Guy is a complete bonehead of a human being but he can fight so I guess that's good.

I'm being serious. People have been fired from the UFC in the past for domestic related issues (pretty sure on this); What Jones did was at least comparable to a domestic dispute.

First one that immediately comes to mind for me is Thiago Silva.

The one I remember was when Jenna Jameson said Tito beat her up, then when Dana said that he was going to release Tito, Jenna refuted all of what she accused him of.

Hermes Franca is another one, can't remember exactly what he did though.

Nevermind on Franca, he left the UFC before the shit happened.

As has been said, I don't think there is any point in holding up the LHW division waiting on Jones. DC and Rumble are both ready to fight right now. My guess is they make it official for UFC205, and I'm pretty jazzed to see that fight.

As for Cruz / "No Love," I'm a little surprised TJ hasn't been more vocal in trying to hype a rematch. I think Cody is still one win away from deserving a title shot, but he is the only one hyping a fight with Cruz so maybe UFC rewards him for that.

Personally, I'd love TJ v No Love for a title eliminator. Pretty sure you can sell that fight with the TAM drama alone.

All of those are headlining fights - they might do two of those but not all four.

    UFC fucked up here, imo.

How does UFC lose someone like Rory? Baffling

Because they're cheap bastards. They need to ditch Reebok big time.

Bendo is still their biggest loss, being a dominant champ and all.

Exactly. Rory wanted $250K per fight (he made 150K against Wonderboy). I'm guessing Bellator probably offered him $300 and the UFC declined to match.

Rory was in a weird spot in that division and he should dominate WW over there. Happy for him. I've casually watched Bellator here and there but if they keep signing prime talent from the UFC, I may become more of a fan.

As much as I hate to see a talent like Rory leave the UFC, I think it ultimately will be good for MMA to have something approaching competition for the UFC.

Plus, I think you will slowly start to see more and more people follow with the likes of Bendo and Rory headed over. Rory was coming off of two tough losses, but he has a dominant win over the current UFC champ and both of his losses were very competitive (although somewhat uneventful in the Wonderboy case).

With people like that headed away from the UFC, we're slowly losing that stigma that "if you're not in the UFC, you're not a top-level fighter".

Bellator also has a chance to make a run at Lorenz Larkin, which would further bolster their 170 lb division. They also have MVP lurking in that division, so that could be something interesting to watch.

Cerrone is also a ending his contract, I think it's over now actually.

    Yeah it ended on Saturday.

However, he said something like "I'l always fight in the UFC" or something similar. So, I think the odds of him jumping are considerably less than some of the other names. On the other hand, he has been about as vocal as anybody about the fact that he is motivated exclusively by money. So if Bellator significantly outbid the UFC, who knows?

EDIT: Just saw on twitter someone reporting that Bellator offered Cowboy $350k per fight. That would be pretty damn tempting.

Hearing him on Joe Rogan's podcast and learning of his lifestyle, he NEEDS to get a big payday whenever he fights just to sustain his day to day life. He is most likely one of the handful of fighters who get some behind the scenes cash and some outside sponsors, but guaranteed money per fight is tempting.

Plus, he'd most likely wreck 99% of the LW/WW divisions over there minus the likes of Bendo and now Rory.

Cowboy signed an 8 fight contract extension with UFC.

    Not surprised.

I will seriously be sad if Cowboy never gets a belt in the UFC. Just looking at his record is staggering. He'll have the record for fights, wins and finishes in the UFC before its all over.

Hate to see Condit lose, but man Maia is a beast. I have been pretty spot on with my predictions in the Welterweight division so far... Had Woodley beating Lawler, and I said I thought Wonderboy would get by everyone with relative ease but Rory and Demian. Already had a tough fight with Rory, but now he really does have Demian coming up behind him if he gets by Woodley.

Also, isn't it crazy how Maia has dominated everyone in the division aside from Jake Shields and Rory MacDonald....the same two guys who have beaten Woodley in the UFC and are, by coincidence, both out of the UFC?

Edit: Also, I think it's obvious they should let Demian wait for the winner of Wonderboy/Woodley. I think the only thing that could complicate things is if GSP decides to jump back into the mix. I think he could edge Woodley, beat Demian, but he wouldn't beat Wonderboy. Doubt they would even fight each other, but it would be interesting.
