I don’t think it stinks, it’s just quite a few up and coming fighters as compared to the packed cards full of returning stars and title fights we’ve had the past few months. I like watching Mercier fight and Cyborg vs Spencer should be good to watch as well.
Yeah this card isn't worth the price. Title match is mildly interesting, but expect Max to cruise and the Cyborg fight is a squash. Compared to upcoming PPV's and UFC 239 this one is skippable.
BJ is in talks to fight Lentz later this year. Somebody talk to our boy BJ and tell him it’s time to live as a legend.
Blah. Like I said before, some of these guys are too stubborn and have it in their heads that they need to “go out on win”....except when/if they win, they think “Hey I still got it! Let’s keep going.” These guys need to surrounded themselves with people who will tell them when it’s time.
I know, he just doesn’t seem to be in a good place and I don’t know why his team isn’t doing more to change his perspective on his career. I believe he factually has the longest active losing streak in the UFC today. If he isn’t mentally healthy enough to walk away, Dana and the UFC should do the right thing and talk a severance deal with him.
I just read that BJ Penn has absorbed over 1,300 head shots and holds the record for most in the company history. It’s time for the company to really do what’s right instead of allowing him to keep doing this.
Yeah as a relative newcomer she showed a great level of toughness and stamina; her confidence should only grow from here, and if she concentrates on her striking, she should guarantee herself more wins in her future
I feel like Frankie keeps you on your toes and that’s about it. If you relax, he’ll make you pay but if you’re on top, you’re good.
Only caught the last two fights but they went about how I thought they would. Close and competitive, but still pretty decisive. Man Frankie is still the man. I can’t believe he can still hang with the best after all this time. Honestly wouldn’t doubt if he moved down and got a title shot pretty quickly.
Awesome fights all around. Idk if anyone caught the crazy double KO during Neal v Price. Exciting in the moment for a PPV event. Huge props to Spencer and Edgar for taking shots like champion fighters. Really cool to see both Cyborg and Max bounce back with wins over top contenders back to back as well.
