To be fair i'm pretty sure that footage was from like a year and a half ago during the first few months of his MMA training, i'd like to think his striking has improved since then. Still though he's probably going to get killed.
Yeah, that's probably one of the early parts of his training in his documentary to give a baseline to show how he's improved. I don't think he's going to do well, but I really hope he proves me wrong.
Even if that's early on in camp that's ridiculous. The only context where that punch is okay is if it's from the tail end of an endurance session, still weird to even highlight it if that's the case.
Just under a week out and I still can't pick between Diaz and McGregor. Probably lean slightly towards McGregor, but would appreciate Nate burying this rivalry altogether.
I like how once Nate was actually leaving the venue, that's when Conor got mad at brought the attention back to himself, what a tool.
This is true, but he walked away until someone started throwing things at him. Sure, Diaz threw something first, but I don't care.
On a much heavier note: With UFC Return Looming, Chael Sonnen's Family Has Different Fight But then this happened:
Sure looked like that video was full of Nate instigating not only Conor but others in the crowd (Conor's team?). Both were shitheads for that act but I'm not sure any one of them is at more fault than the other. It was stupid on both sides.
There is always shit talking before fights, so judging either for shit talking at any point is stupid. But Nate acts like Conor isn't a legit threat, and was way too disrespectful. Getting up and then walking out of the conference shouting shit, throwing middle fingers in a wife beater and talking shit to the crowd? Diaz couldn't be more white trash. Hope Conor sweeps him. Edit: not to mention his crew started throwing shit first at people not even involved. I'd of tossed a can at them too if I were Conor.
I mean, they're both in on "selling the fight", but if the UFC scripted for them to throw full cans of Monster over the heads of a bunch of innocent bystanders...then that's some crazy shit lol I like this fight mainly because I'm sort of indifferent about both guys. Love their styles but don't care about their shtick.
