I mean, guess it looks like Cody was right all along and they weren't BS accusations. TJ said he intended on "ruining his career," but jokes on you guy.
That was one instance where I actually believed the steroid accusation even though I actually usually root for TJ (see profile pic)... It seemed like a genuine slip up, pretty much admitting that TJ gave the rest of TAM steroids or showed them how to do it. Cody is actually dumb enough that I was not surprised he would out all of them out of pure stupidity.
Do you think Faber, Mendes and co. all use? Or that Tj just tried to bring it in and around them and that’s why he likely didn’t click with the team and eventually bounced for a different team? Faber always seemed against it, I’m pretty sure I recall him talking about users and the sport. He’s never popped in his career but who knows.
TJ was on Rogan after his last fight talking about how his new trainer is so great and gets him in such amazing shape. Haha
I’m interested to hear from Ludwig about all of this. There’s no way he didn’t know TJ was on something and preaches fighting clean a whole fucking lot.
Yeah man I really don’t know. I hate to throw accusations around because it would all be speculation. You don’t want to think a lot of these guys are cheating but you never know.
This is the most basic trash excuse. “Well he’s not the only one that did it and more are going to so, it is what it is.” Uh, no. A champions career is now forever marred with accusations of cheating. Just like Jon Jones. Ludwig you’re a fucking moron.
His post would have been completely fine without the first half of the first sentence. "It's inexcusable, but people make mistakes and I still love him." There, that's it. I feel pretty terrible for The Treighning Lab guys (his strength and conditioning coaches/nutritionists). TJ talked them up like crazy on the JRE and explained how much science they have behind everything they do. Now they look like frauds with everyone making jokes like, "Well, no wonder their formula was so effective..." Sounds like they're still sticking by him but want to be perfectly clear they they have nothing to do with this.
It is true though. If DC can run around saying his losses to Jones are void then Cody gets the same leeway.
Anybody can say anything they want. haha. It still doesn't mean anyone will change their opinion one way or another. I think the big difference here is whether or not they can re-test previous samples and determine whether or not he was on the substance in those fights with Cody (apparently it requires a special test). It would be weird if they could test old samples, change Cody's result to a No Contest, and reinstate him....but it's hypothetically possible.
Tj being able to recover in the first fight like so and still have the power to throw what he did says a lot. Even if those tests came back negative at the time, Cody had suspicions and accusations wellllllll before their fights on the exact drug used. Quite clear that in some capacity no matter what, TJ’s physique and power at that point in his career was boosted by roids.
Not saying that I think Cody should be handed the belt back, but it does make me view the situation differently and I think it does negate a lot of TJ’s work in the UFC in my mind.
Wow. What the fuck. I didn’t remember the previous incident mentioned in that. He needs to not be fighting anymore and quickly put into rehab.
And let him cast the first stone I’ve never put any thing performance enhancing in my body so I’ll stone away
