“Tony believed someone placed a computer chip in his leg” :/ that really makes me sad. Hoping the best for him and obviously his wife and son too.
Holy shit. I feel terrible for all of them. Sounds like he might be manic-depressive/bipolar or something along those lines. I have a friend who had it just sort of appear when we were in high school and had similar behavior. He didn’t sleep for days, would call us repeatedly, was paranoid and thought someone was planning to blow up the school, etc. Just kind of lost touch with reality and scared everyone around him.
Dana said a few days ago that he was having some personal issues and wasn’t able to fight. I hope he gets some help. I know Eddie Bravo has mentioned he had an alchohol abuse issue in the past. I know Tony became a meme in the MMA community with his ridiculous Instagram and Twitter posts but this just really bums me out.
Fortunately I'd imagine he will have great access to help and there are so many remedies to balance him out and get him back to homeostasis, it's super common for someone in the middle of being manic or whatever Tony was to deny help, but in the aftermath with his kid and wife not feeling safe, that's the kind of shit that makes you go get serious help.
lol the ref took one point over an entire minute after the announcers were calling for a DQ because of so many blatant fence grabs/warnings. A DQ! What a joke.
Terrible stoppage. The position they were in made no sense or reason for a stoppage. He was out of the armbar?
I swear this dude who was likely security walking out with Volkan was Agent 47. He was there and then he was gone before I could get a photo.
Yep. The announcers spent the whole last round talking about how much better Volkan looked and how Reyes was simply outclassed. What a bummer.
