Eh I was gonna deposit 20 bucks in Bovada, which I'd imagine is what you guys use, but idk half as much as y'all and I'd prob just lose so I stopped myself
I mean, yes because Jones has never been beaten by anything but a DQ strike. So it’ll be very impressive. But there have been bigger upsets by less impressive fighters than Smith. Serra v GSP comes to mind first.
If Anthony does what I said and puts pressure on early/is successful with catching Jon with something off-guard, that’s his best route and is totally possible. I don’t think he’ll do good on the ground against Jones and he must know that. If Jones finds his rhythm early and Smith doesn’t have answers we’ll watch Jones slowly wear him down and win via decision or a TKO.
Wish I knew where to stream the PPV since this is the most solid card they've had in quite a while. At least the prelims are solid haha Saving for moving and can't really afford it otherwise I'd totally order the fights, but still rooting for Jones, Usman and Askren, Munoz and Stephens.
Thanks a lot, I'll have to give it a try tonight. Haven't streamed a PPV in a few years so I didnt know if it was still a thing that was easily accessible haha
If he fights smart he should win. He seems much more mature and composed this time around than we've ever seen him so it would make sense that he'll be on top of his game tonight but it will be super interesting to see how he handles hits from Munhoz.
There's also the question of how he bounces back after two stoppage losses. He's still fairly new as a fighter despite having beaten Cruz and winning a belt already. I think he's mentally strong enough to come back even better though.
Does not surprise me, but I do not want to watch those interviews. Her interview with Megan was the most painfully awkward thing I’ve ever seen (although she seems really sweet and nice).
