Am impressed with how Joanna has handled the takedowns but unfortunately she’s spending so much time fighting off takedown attempts it’s not giving her any time to work herself

I was referring to the promo they showed after the vodka commercial not the one Val received.

Fight went about how I thought it would although I was impressed by Joanna's strength towards the end. At the beginning, the size/strength disparity was really obvious but it wasn't as prominent after Valentina slowed down a little.

I feel like Joanna has problems whenever she can't get a lot of forward momentum going with her strikes. Sometimes it seems like she just tries to touch her opponent from the furthest possible distance and they don't do much for her. Other times she's able to move forward and put on pressure and her strikes are actually meant to cause damage.

 

Also, think I got Max tonight if he's at 100%. No idea how this fight will go.

This is the best type of fight. I'd maybe give the third to Ortega because he did better but Max snapped crisp punches at him for the last two minutes.

 

Not entirely sure how Ortega is even standing right now

Ortega is literally eating punch after punch and his knees aren't even wobbling, even though he's clearly hurt

I'm pretty sure his head will fall off before he will get knocked out. Not sure if scientifically possible but still.

 

unreal performance. Holloway is the best. That was so fucking good.
