They haven’t even eliminated the flyweight division yet and they’re already struggling to fill main event slots. Keep the flyweight and add the 165/move 170 up or else this is going to keep happening. You can’t expect every champion to be willing to defend their belt on 6 weeks or less notice.

    Womp.

I agree. Keep the divisions. Some won't be "draws" but that's life, especially if they're hell bent on having championship fights on cards.

  4. Hoping they add Woodley/Covington to 233 if they’re moving TJ/Henry.

Woodley vs Covington on the ESPN card would be awesome as well.

Ariel said in the video Covington isn’t ready and Woodley might not be ready either.

Can’t wait until we get more Stipe complaining about DC because of this

He had an amazing run and in a perfect world that should have gotten him an immediate rematch, but come on man, you lost by KO in the first round.

TJ was sent to the back of the line after a debatable split decision loss and then Cody was granted an immediate rematch after a second round KO. The UFC obviously has no hard rule for rematches and doesn't hide from the fact that they play favorites. The constant complaining does him no favors.

  8. Am I crazy thinking that if Minakov still looks like he did before that he should roll through any of these guys?

Not sure if he fights Fedor though

Pretty hilarious at how quickly super fights have gone from being such a big deal to being thrown on ESPN+

Watching the press conference from earlier. I was already slightly on Ortega's side but would be happy with whoever won. I'm all in on Ortega now. Lets go T-City.

Roy Nelson going to get slept something fierce.

Think Bader can beat Minakov. Bader v Kongo would be fairly boring haha.

To be fair, he also had the greatest run of any Heavyweight champ, and i'm still salty about that eye poke. I would be pissed too if I were him. DC is just sitting on the title hoping for a Brock match that I honestly don't believe is happening.

Also, when I woke up this morning and saw that both Max and Brian made weight, I was hyped.

    Predictions for tomorrow?

I'm gonna go with Holloway, Shevchenko, Oliveira, Bochniak, Santos, and Moicano.

That's pretty frustrating but I guess I can see it. If DC is still on top of his game, of course Dana's going to want him to stay put to sell some potentially big fights. But other than more money, I don't know what DC still has left to do in the sport. There's no one NEW besides Brock that would entice him to stay.

I bet he rematches the winner of Gus and Jones, and if neither of them are able to fight him in March he should just rematch Stipe and call it a day, win or lose.
