You didn’t know what was going to happen after your last superfight with an MMA artist? BULLSHIT.

You were gonna just do an “exhibition” match without knowing exactly who you were going against? BULLSHIT.

You do private exhibitions for the rich and wealthy no one knows about? What the fuck is this Unleashed 2? Did you think the mystery opponent was Jet Li who was gonna take off a dog collar to fight you?

You have so much money, yet you take said “private exhibitions” at 40 years old, in a sport you have no experience in, for what? Fun? BULLLLLLLLSHIT.

You posed for press photos, wearing a bright red, white and blue American tracksuit, and you and your team were “derailed” by the “new direction” this was going?

I’ll tell you what happened, Mayweather and his ego likely believe he can beat MMA artists, but were too chicken shit to try their shot calling with UFC stars who won’t agree to modified rules. They went where he’d get tossed a lot of money and likely didn’t take their fighters seriously. I would guess that he didn’t get his way in the fight stipulations, found out what Tenshin is all about because he disrespectfully didn’t look into the fighter he agreed to face, and is now doing what he does best. Running.

Is this to my lengthy post lol? I wasn’t as angry as it sounds he’s just a joke in the sporting world at this point, and I’m sick of the attention he takes from MMA. Retire, stay retired, stop trying to stay relevant.

There's money out there for these guys to do private lessons, exhibitions, etc. for these rich dudes, so to be honest, I semi buy it. Most of the boxing personalities I follow seem to think he agreed to something, probably an exhibition, on his own. Rizin blew it up into something else, and then Mayweather's actual team of advisers got involved to put a stop to it.

But yeah, he should just go away.

 

I guess he’s blaming the trade for the division ending? I think UFC did the trade because they knew they didn’t want the division anymore. Not sure why he’s only calling out one side.

I don’t doubt that those happen. I was partially trying and failing to be funny but also think cocky and “retired” multi Millionaire Mayweather is not the one doing private exhibitions of any sort.

 

Yeah I agree with all that. I mean, what's that say about the division if that was all it took anyway? You take away Mighty Mouse (who isn't even the champion of the division anymore) and 125 is no longer sustainable? Doesn't sound like it's ONE's fault...

Rapid reaction is that Dillishaw is just a better striker and that gives him the edge in my book. But the cut to 125 worries me.

 

I haven't weighed 135 in six years, so I don't think it's happening

 

I like the fight and I know it’s been in the works for a while, but wow, what a slap in the face to the rest of the division. “Half of you guys are cut immediately, the rest of you are fighting to stay, and btw the last title shot goes to someone not in your division.”

 

I doubt they would do it but if Henry loses he’s able to get cut outright.
