Bisping wouldn't be reacting the way he did about knowing he made a shitty slip at the end there if it was the former.
Yes I did. I saw f****** written here about 6x and it never crossed my mind it was anything but ending it wit. Maybe I'm too angelic to have thought the other one until an hour later
Oh, I though maybe he said "fuckwit" on the video too and that's why you brought it up. Though I'm also not sure why everyone would be putting asterisks in "fuckwit"
Not too sure how moderated it is around here. Fuckwit is a great cuss word. Like cockhead another beauty. And my apologies just watched the video now. It's not the right thing for him to say. But I'm actually fine with it as he was immediately apologitic about. It's not like a Eminem situation where he's throwing it out there willy nilly with no remorse
Glad to see they gave that opportunity to Hunt. Like I said earlier in this thread, I don't think there's anyone else that made sense. Big exposure and big payday for Hunt there. That said. Hunt via first round TKO. Also, I love how everyone is poking fun at the media thing. Like Ariel said when he was let go by Fox, he's not being given confidential information by the promotion and then leaking it. He's either reaching out to independent sources or they reach out to him and he reports it. It's his job.
I just love how the UFC sold the whole Reebok deal as "we want a uniform so we look like other professional sports and are taken as seriously." Uniforms don't lend credibility. A strong Union for your athletes would be a start. Similarly, stop behaving like a petulant child and banning reporters for doing their jobs. Or firing one of the best cut men in the business for making a decent point about lost wages.
Really happy Bisping won, I remember watching his season of TUF and throughout his career I was surprised he never got a title shot until now. But he'll lose it when Weidman comes back, if he fights Bisping, so who cares. Brock...really? I liked Brock when he first got on the MMA scene, but I'm hoping Hunt KO's him easily.
I don't wish to see him lose for any reason. I think he is stepping up big time by doing this, honestly. He is filling that void that the UFC needs for this huge event since Conor and Ronda are apparently in hiding. Also, pretty cool considering I'm pretty sure he is the only fighter to fight on both UFC 100 and 200. Edit: Just looked at the card for UFC 100. How crazy is it that that card had Hendo vs. Bisping? Then fast forward to UFC 199 and Hendo has an almost equally epic KO in what may be his retirement fight and Bisping wins the MW title? Also, forgot Jon Jones was on the prelims of 100, so he is also another fighter on both cards.
I always have to choose a winner in a match, and in this case I'm going for Hunt via knock out. Say Brock wins, then what, just leaves back to WWE to leave UFC fans wondering what could have been? It would be best if Brock came and went and nothing more. Also Conor is fighting Diaz in August at 202.
I know Conor is about to fight, but he's been MIA at the time they most need him (UFC 200). This was a great substitute. As for Brock, I don't think anyone cares if he wins. Even if he steamrolled Hunt (which I doubt), we already know he can't hang with people like Overeem and Cain, so what does it matter?
Exactly, I think this is more of a fun fight than anything. At least Brock is a former champ so it's not a freak show fight. haha.
From what I understand, the reason why he wishes to return now is both equally his health being better/his contract with the WWE is ending and he isn't into it as much anymore. The man is a beast. Yes, he's suffered some rough losses but I don't see him being steamrolled. I'm also a Rockhold fan and was surprised to see him get KO'd like so. Yes, it's a big win for Bisping, but if we're counting points on a scoreboard, Rockhold was simply a little cocky vs Bisping being a total jackass. Not to mention Rockhold was very much in control that whole round up until Bisping caught him. I hope Rockhold gets another rematch.
Link? I no joke could've sworn that yesterday when I was reading about his UFC 200 announcement it said he wasn't into it and his contract was either already up or soon to be.
I think it's just a nice reward for Bisping to say he was best in the world and carry the belt even if he just has it once for all the hard work for 10yr leading the way for British fighters
So Dana White has confirmed that the ban for Ariel is real and that as long he is President of UFC Ariel will never get another credential to cover a UFC event. Unreal.
