That’s a good one. I didn’t mean “he won’t fight for a title” necessarily (because obviously he wants to be at the top) but I mainly meant you can just throw him into any big name fight and it just works. Haha. If it’s for a title, even better!

Man, I love Askren. Not to mention he wrestled for Mizzou which is right down the street from me. It must be frustrating talking shit to him because it's not like a typical situation of whether or not a guy will land a punch that knocks you out. He is 100% going to put you on your back and make you feel like a helpless child.

Man that was a good scrap. I'm pretty sure both guys gas tanks were on E by the end of that from taking each other's power shots (Volkan's especially from the damage to the nose). Smith just emptied his tank for that finish and it paid off.

It's weird because the guy just doesn't appear to be that good in any certain area, but he's got just enough talent and heart to persevere and just get it done. You can't make him quit.
