Yeah I don't know who else you get besides the Super Samoan. Has awesome potential because Brock could take him down immediately and beat him to death or Mark could one-shot KO him in 20 seconds.

 

Does anyone watch WWE? I know Brock was on a limited fight contract but has he been active there? As in spare time for proper training. Cause he'll only just sneak in a 6wk camp

Thank GOD. As cocky as Bisping is, I like him 1000x more than Rockhold.

Honestly, it feels great to see Bisping get that. Insane that he has been around this long and then around the ten year mark in the UFC, he beats Anderson Silva and then wins the Middleweight title in his next fight. Absolutely inspiring.

Zuffa escorted Helwani out of the building before the main event and told him he was banned for life. Ridiculous.

 

Dude is talking major shit to Bisping AT the press conference. Such a tool. He actually has the nerve to say "If I fight MY fight, Bisping can't compete with me" after getting KOed cold in the first round. Just let the man enjoy his moment.

It's just like Chris Weidman said. He got a big head WAY too fast and thought he was invincible. I know people can get that when they get that belt, but he ridiculous.

 

I just laughed so hard at the banter by Bisping. Makes it so much better.

Still think there's a chance they do Lesnar/Velasquez and have Browne go up against Hunt.

 

I don't think Bipsing's entire career should be ruined because of this, but I'm having a pretty hard time coming to grips with the MMA world's general nonchalance to Bipsing calling Rockhold a "f****t." I know he immediately said he shouldn't have said it, but that's because he muttered it in front of all the media. No real apology. Just says a lot to me about Bipsing that that is a word the immediately comes to his mind to call someone, and the fans of MMA's willingness to defend what he said.

He's used that word multiple times before if I'm not mistaken.

 

I doubt they'd bring Brock in for a one off fight against a guy who basically shredded his will to live in the Octagon.

It'll be Hunt or Barnett....Shane Carwin would be pretty cool too

 

Yeah, that was disappointing. I hope Bisping speaks on this a little more. A more thorough apology is certainly in order.

I haven't seen anyone defending what he said, but then again I don't frequent message boards for MMA. But, it was pointed out in almost all the articles I saw of the press conference scuffle. And it wasn't like they pointed it out to make Bisping look good. So at least the reporting I saw was pretty on point.

I do have a less cynical view of the fact that he caught himself and acknowledged he shouldn't have said it. That his mind went there is still a stain on Bisping, but hopefully it is something he is working on removing from his vocabulary.

 

What a great UFC event. Some really exciting and surprising fights. I hadn't seen the news about McG - Diaz 2 or Lesnar before they were announced so that was awesome when they were revealed.

It just sucks that UFC had to behave like a petulant child and ruin the good vibes. And then waking up to the whole Bisping "f****t" thing was a real bummer, too.

It won't get a ton of attention from fans but as someone who works in news, this kind of stuff is incredibly frustrating.

 

I didn't know Rockhold did that Millionaire Matchmaker show. I want to watch it to see how bad it is.
