I love Lewis. Especially after this weekend

Wait, why against Joanna? That wasn't the originally scheduled fight right?

 

It was originally JJ v Shev in Toronto, then they wanted to move that to MSG but JJ declined, so they made it Shev vs Sij at MSG. Now that it's DC v Lewis at MSG they're apparently moving it back to the originally scheduled fight, JJ v Shev in Toronto.

I don’t see him winning this but I’d love it if he did. I like both guys but I also like an underdog story and he seems like a fun/good dude. also just really like seeing him knock people out

Honestly props to both guys for taking that fight. Lewis was just talking about how he needed better cardio before challenging for the belt so going for it three weeks out is pretty crazy. haha. Maybe that's a strategic move on DC's part? Fight him before he can have an adequate training camp.

 

I like DC. I like Lewis. I want DC and Brock though, so I guess I'm rooting for DC to wrestle that man to death. Regardless, I don't think Lewis loses much face if he loses. Short turnaround against an all time great, no shame in a loss.

I want that Joanna vs. Bullet fight. I like both of them too, but I really wanna see Joanna Champion again. Ahh.

Why is UFC doing this to me? Can't you just allow me to have favorites anymore?!

 

I feel like both guys are probably making bank for this, especially with how quickly it got signed. I feel like they're banking on Lewis' recent meme status coming off of that awesome KO and post-fight interview, hoping enough casual people will remember him and want to tune in to see him.
