I don’t want to seem like I’m excusing that in any way because people got hurt so yeah fuck Conor for all of that. he’s a piece of shit imo. but this was at a live event around tons of innocent people and that’s just insane to me. I feel like this is so much worse
Ugh whats killing me right now is people drawing Conor as the sympathetic victim here, where Conor was just as unprofessional months ago, just in a different context.
Yeah, that was definitely the moment where it felt like too much for me. I can't let the hysteria of the moment make me forget how ridiculous that was. Dana calling the whole bus attack "the most disgusting thing" he's ever witnessed while fighting back a smile with dollar signs in his eyes. You just knew it was eventually going to get to a point of no return.
So personally, I was a McGregor fan, then the bus thing happened and there was just no way I could support him, I thought a lot more people would do that but it seems to not be the case, like I feel like i'm experiencing Trump level loyalty with this shit haha.
Totally agree. Khabib is associated with some shady characters, but some of that was pretty much pointed at entire groups of people. Hell, part of Conor's "trash talk" was to constantly jab at Khabib being Muslim and not drinking while constantly waving his new whiskey in his face at the press conference. Nevermind the fact that the logo was plastered all over the octagon. And also, to everyone talking about how much worse this could have been...I was already on the edge of my seat praying there weren't gunshots from some crazy person who got ahold of one of the police officer's weapons in all the chaos.
Rogan also made a good point, the way that ended....thats gonna spill out into the streets amongst fans. Conor throwing shit is why he should have never been allowed back; but what Khabib did should also get him banned. Instead, they'll both headline UFC235 or something.
I haven’t seen anyone on twitter bring up what Conor did at that Bellator event awhile back Dude jumped in another promotions cage and lost his mind
And the UFC claimed they punished him by pulling him from a card...for a fight they had never announced and no one actually thought he was going to fight on. haha. Who knows if Conor would have ever gone so far with any of the things he's done in recent memory if the UFC would have reprimanded him in the slightest for things he did way back when. They started setting terrible precedences with him from the get-go, so of course he's going to think he can say and do whatever he wants.
Conor's reaction is going to be HUGE for this, he can come from a few different angles, will be very interesting.
Have..you watched any fights aside from this one and the last Diaz fight? Ima go with no. Great comment lmao.
