Kind of what I'm leaning towards. I actually think Max is a great stylistic match up to beat Khabib (great stand up, cardio for days, and underrated takedown defense), but he needs to be able to use that footwork. So I'm not sure what's going to happen... Eh, fuck it. Let's go Max.

 

I’m all for Max winning. That’ll probably convince Conor to come back. Max would be holding both of his belts

Hope he comes back so Khabib can throw him around for 25 minutes.

 

It's easy to avoid pulling out of fights by, ya know, not fighting. He has as many wins as I do in the last year.

 

I’d still bet on Conor against Max, Khabib, or Ferguson.

Max? Maybe. He won the first time. But Max is much better now
Tony? Yeah I think that’s 50/50. Maybe 60/40 for Tony since Conor has been out awhile.

Khabib would be an overwhelming favorite over Conor. That’s by far his worst matchup in MMA.

Brock wouldn’t even be able to fight for months. He hasn’t even entered the USADA pool again.

 

I don't think the idea is to have him fight much before Winter anyways.

You'd think he will be gifted a walk-in shot of the winner of Stipe-Cormier which isn't even until July. Brock vs the winner of that on the NYE card, imo.

 

Ah yeah you’re right. I forgot Werdum lost and there’s not really anyone else. Cain probably won’t ever be healthy again. So there’s no clear cut guy at the top of the division to fight for the belt.

The Cody/TJ rematch is fine. I don't really want to see it at this moment but I'm not upset it's happening.

This closer this fight gets, the more I hope Khabib wins just for the sake of having some normality in the division. Actually rooting for Max just because I like him more, but man I am just sick of the interim belts, injuries, title stripping nonsense.
