Good album that I expect will only get better with repeat listens. Not sure anything here supplants Knockin as my fav MJ song on first couple of listens. Certainly nothing here that features Jake really going for it vocally like he does on Knockin, although a couple of tracks still rock pretty hard.
Need them to close with Bark At The Moon and actually just leave the stage with all that feedback going on haha
middle of the album isn’t exactly what i expected from him but pretty cool. rip torn and you don’t know the shape im in will need some more listens to unpack.
This is very good, nothing topped She's Leaving You on first listen to me but it's definitely a step up from all but the very best moments of Boat Songs and I can imagine this growing on me hard over the next week.
The list of people who can summon Deep Feelings in me just from the way they play guitar is fairly short but Mikey Jordan Lenderman is definitely on it
