Surprised at the venues this tour is playing. The two NYC venues are both ones Waxahatchee did on her own last year. bringing in MJ Lenderman is only going to triple demand.
That performance of Knockin' was 10/10. I loved Manning Fireworks, but I'd love to hear a record of his that is just full of angry, aggressive rocking out tunes.
It’s great but I’ve got a feeling the best is yet to come from him. Boat songs also still a little better overall I think although I probably like the best songs on this more
Have never really got the this forum take of boat songs > MF, there are some unreal songs but it feels more half baked to me. That said both albums are good and def would be disappointed if he’s not still on the way up.
half baked is a good way to put it for boat songs, some really high highs but some songs just feel like sketches or first drafts.
Nothing on manning fireworks sounds nearly as good as hangover game, TLC match, suv, or you are every girl to me. It’s a good record but it’s way too smoothed over
