Thought I recognized the bridge

 

ended up getting tickets for detroit! this is lorelei as an opener was hard to pass up. i was a little surprised how poorly the show has sold so far, but detroit usually lags behind other cities in sales

 

yea I've spent way too many hours watching videos of that bridge lol, incredible stuff

 

They cut it off before the best part

 

Monday's show was great. Zohran intro, Neil cover, Knockin closer, not much else I could've asked for. Also the crowd was better than I expected for such a kind of trendy artist in Brooklyn, no talking during the music but still very friendly. There was a group of overexcited kids in front of us putting on their own show including getting on their knees during On My Knees...which...gross...but glad they were having fun.

 

also wow there were a lot of dudes there who more or less looked like MJ. Including half the band (and me tbh)

 

This happens every time I go to an alt comedy show or podcast taping

 

Watched most of the show last night on Nugs, band sounded better than ever

 

My brother has a poster MJ was selling waaaay early on before Boat Songs took off that has the Air Jordan logo on it haha. I’m sure he’s big enough that he’d instantly draw a cease-and-desist letter now

 

I snagged that back then too. Perfect for a garage in Chicago.

 

Great show the other night; Buffalo crowd convinced him to play Wristwatch twice haha

Guess I’m going to Nashville in October.

 

I just need a video of Isbell coming out to play on Knockin or something, between that show falling on an off day in the middle of Isbell’s Ryman run and MJ playing his festival in AL

 

my brother was at the philly show tonight and said he did darkness on the edge of town???
