yeah, hate to say it but with how successful he's been and how much touring he's doing i never expected him to remain a part of wednesday, at least in a full time capacity
seeing a reddit link and your comment made me think this was gonna be that he was an asshole or worse
having to sell my ticket last year makes me extra sad now. especially since he played with Hotline TNT on their cover of Smashing Pumpkins "Quiet"
I don’t want to make you feel worse but it was amazing and very fun. Got a signed test press of cartwheel at that show
“I saw Wednesday with MJ Lenderman in a 250 cap room” is gonna be a pretty sick brag for me down the road I have a feeling
“I saw Wednesday with MJ Lenderman in a 380 cap room and left early cause I was there for Hotline TNT and think Wednesday are just fine” is gonna be a sick brag for me.
I saw Wednesday in a 1,100 cap room with Lenderman, seen Lenderman in a 300 cap room and I’ve also seen Hotline TNT with 25 people on a Monday night.
I later saw MJ at the same 380 cap room and it ruled. Also later saw hotline tnt in a tiny ass room with like 50 people and they seemed pissed and didn’t even play a full hour.
I stayed until they played what I think is easily the best song on their newest album and then left. It was a week night and I’m old.
mj and wednesday are on relatively equal footing for me. boat songs is probably the best thing anyone in that camp has put out, but rat saw god is a very close second
Refers to the vocals Karly was recutting in Dec 2024 as their “fifth” album and the other one coming out this year as the “fourth.” Possibly a stretch but if she was redoing vocal takes two months ago I think it stands to reason the fifth one is basically done
