So good. It feels really cool to have actually been at one of the shows featured on the album. I had no idea they were recording anything that night.
In this post it says it was recorded at Lincoln Hall in Chicago and The Lodge Room in LA. I was at Lincoln Hall.
I'm loving the live album, really blown away how much this thing rips. Songs sound even better than they do on Boat Songs
not seeing any threads/even really any comments about these records here, so i figured i'd just post them in this thread since MJ is the closest RIYL. check them out kinda if MJ went a bit more william tyler with some jams that feel kinda MMJ-lite what if MJ was a honky from rural wisconsin instead of the mountains of north carolina
I have not listened to this album yet, only familiar with Wednesday, but I am listening to the live album right now and it fucking owns. One of the best sounding live albums I've ever heard. "Rudolph" is such an unbelievably good song

Yeah, this album is crazy good. Might slightly prefer the cleaner sound on the live album, but I love that I have both fuzzy studio recordings and incredible live versions of these songs. Absolutely wild that he wrote two stone-cold classics and released them back-to-back as non-album singles.
